
Treble Choir:
In this entry-level choir, proper development of the young voice is emphasized with much individualized attention to vocal technique and theory. Students are offered a thorough introduction to the art of singing. Regular attendance at rehearsals and performances is important.

Camp: August 17-21, 2009 at Westover Hills United Methodist Church, 1705 Westover Hills Blvd.
Rehearsals: Tuesdays 4:30-6:00 pm beginning second Tuesday after Labor Day
Where: Grace & Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 8 N. Laurel St. (next door to the Landmark Theater).
Tuition: $475, including camp. Additional fee for concert clothes. Some need based scholarships are available.

Concert Choir:
The members of the Concert Choir must have good music reading skills, excellent intonation, beautiful tone quality, and a high degree of self-discipline. The Concert Choir repertoire is less difficult than the Pro Arte Choir, however the same performance quality is expected of this group. GRCC performances should be given high priority.

Members of the Pro Arte Choir must have excellent reading skills and intonation, beautiful tone quality, and a high degree of self-discipline. Repertoire includes some of the most challenging pieces of literature written for treble choirs. Pro Arte Choir members must give GRCC performances the highest priority.

The members of the Cavalieri Choir must have good reading skills and intonation, beautiful tone quality, and a high degree of self-discipline. Repertoire includes challenging pieces from SATB and TB literature. GRCC performances should be given high priority.

Cantare Choir:
Cantare consists of the members of Cavalieri combined with the members of Pro Arte and rehearses during the time that those two choirs' rehearsals overlap. Repertoire includes challenging pieces from SATB literature.
