We are excited to announce that we have accepted an invitation for Pro Arte and Cavalieri to perform at the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage in Washington DC on Saturday, March 19 at 6:00 p.m.! The Kennedy Center Composer-in-Residence Mason Bates (Hope's former student) surprised us by recommending GRCC for this performance. As a Composer-in-Residence's Pick, GRCC's transportation will be paid for by the Kennedy Center and they will provide GRCC with an honorarium as well. The concert is free and open to the public on a first come first served basis. Mark your calendars!

GRCC Camp Details
Camp will be held at Westover Hills United Methodist Church, 1705 Westover Hills Blvd.
Aug. 10-14, 2015, 9 am-2 pm for Treble and Concert Choirs. (Noon-5:30 for the advanced Pro Arte and Cavalieri Choirs)
Pack a lunch, snack, water bottle, and pencil.
Camp will end with a parent observation and potluck reception at 2:00 pm on Friday at the church. Friends and family are welcome!
Camp tuition is $140. If the chorister then commits to the full season $100 of the fee they paid for camp is applied as a credit against the $475 tuition, meaning they would pay a balance $375 for the season. Click here for forms.
It's Time to Enroll in GRCC!
Enroll now for camp August 10-14 or for the whole 2015-2016 season! Children ages 8 and up who love to sing and want to learn with a diverse and dedicated group of musicians are welcome. No audition needed for the entry level choir. The Greater Richmond Children's Choir will be holding auditions and an information session for the 2015-2016 season on Tuesday May 12th, with an information session at 7:00 pm. GRCC in Capitol Opera Richmond's G&S Iolanthe!
GRCC's Pro Arte and Cavalieri choirs are performing in the Capitol Opera Richmond production of the delightful Gilbert & Sullivan's operetta Iolanthe. GRCC Member Chosen to Solo with Richmond Symphony
GRCC Concert Choir member Jack Rigdon will be singing with the Richmond Symphony, May 9th and 10th, performing the boy solo part in Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms. He has already performed the excerpts beautifully twice with us and was wonderful. Way to go Jack!
