]]>GRCC aims to tour every other year with our top choirs, alternating domestic and international travel. The children think of themselves as global citizens and the response we've gotten during our trips tells us our members are fantastic ambassadors representing themselves, the greater Richmond region and the United States. The members' experiences have a ripple effect on the children, their families, and their communities. It is GRCC's policy that no one is left at home because of an inability to pay. Generous gifts from the greater Richmond community, and from family and friends near and far, have made this possible in the past and these tours have been life changing experiences for the children.
GRCC is delighted to announce that an anonymous donor has pledged $10,000 in matching funds in our efforts to raise scholarship money for our 2012 England/Ghana Tour! Every gift we receive up to a total of $10,000 will be matched with a donation to the general scholarship fund by this generous donor.
