Concert Choir - Mandatory Rehearsal Monday

Have all notes, rhythms and words completely memorized in these four anthems:

“I Hear America Singing”, "Kekeli," "All Praise to God" and "Hashivenu." SING FOR YOUR PARENTS!

Enunciate words and listen for beautiful tone in Psalm solos Matilde (verses 1-2) and Sophie (verses 3-4)

Review hymns, descants and service music for Nov. 22.

Learn notes and rhythms on "Gavotte."

Sing-along Christmas carols - Note changes as of Nov. 15: Once in Royal David's City, Meaghan solo 1, 2, 4, 5  & 6 w/ descant, Deck the Hall, Hark the Herald Angels Sing All 3 verses & last w/ descant

 

Cantare Choir- Monday, Nov. 21 at GHTC 6:20-8:35 - James River Singers will join us.

Focus on "A Winter's Night" this week! Practice ALL, and give special attention to p. 6 SA, p. 8-10 SATB, p. 12-14 SA sing soprano part words, ALL OF #3 NOEL NOUVELET, p. 16-22 and #4 STILL, STILL, STILL p.23-28

Know your part in Hodie Christus natus est, and O Magnum Mysterium. Sing beautiful phrases. Give slight crescendos on long notes. Secure pitches on O Magnum from page 12 to the end.

Secure words for Personent Hodie. Note that an "n" was left out of the correct spelling of the first word.

Fix problem spots and keep in your memory Magnificat I, Kekeli, and We Wish You a Joyful Holiday.

Learn Sing-Along hymns and descants

Joyful Holiday: Altos sing part marked Mezzo. Tenors sing part marked Alto. Basses sing Baritone.

Auditions for solo parts in Pergolesi Magnificat will be at the Dec. 12 rehearsal. Learn the parts now.

Keep in your memory Lina Avatara and listen carefully for intonation.

Pro Arte Choir -

Keep in your memory Adam Lay Ybounden and listen carefully for intonation.

 

Treble Choir

Learn and memorize "I Hear America Singing." Give special attention to page 8 to the end.

Keep "Hello Songs" and "Travellers' Tales." in your memory.

Memorize words and melody in "Kekeli Tso Kekeli Me", "Peta kupa" and "Anteater."

Learn We Wish You a Joyful Holiday, America the Beautiful, and No Laugh Race.
